High school programs

Students Voting                          

Students Voting is Minnesota's statewide mock election for all grade levels, first held in fall 2016.

Youth Day at the capitol (ydac)                         

YDAC is a day of advocacy training and the chance to practice those skills-regarding the students' issues- with state legislators, fun activities, and talks by Minnesota Constitutional Officers..

Your Vote Matters

Your Vote Matters is a high school voter education program to support Minnesota civics and government teachers. It includes a three-lesson unit for teaching students about voting rights, the importance of voting, and how to get ready to vote.

The Democracy Cup is a statewide college and university voter turnout competition coordinated by the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State, LeadMN, Students United, MAPCS and the University of Minnesota System.
