SAINT PAUL – On July 12, Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon was sworn in as the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) President-Elect at the conclusion of the 2023 Summer Conference in Washington, D.C.
“NASS is an outstanding organization that allows Secretaries across the country to connect and partner on nonpartisan efforts to conduct elections, support businesses, administer safe-at-home programs, and more,” said Secretary Simon. “I am honored to serve in this role and support the new president, Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab.”
As President-Elect, Secretary Simon will take over the role of president for the 2024-25 term.
In addition to serving as President-Elect for 2023-24, Secretary Simon will serve as the chair of the 2023-24 Nominations and Credentials Committee.
