“MY BALLOT” ONLINE TOOL PROVIDES VOTERS WITH CANDIDATES, BALLOT QUESTIONS

ST. PAUL, Minnesota — September 24, 2013—The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State is providing the “My Ballot” online tool that allows voters to view the names of candidates and questions that will appear on their precinct ballot on Election Day, November 5.

The tool, launched in 2012, also provides links to candidate websites. The site is located at http://myballotmn.sos.state.mn.us/Default.aspx.

The “My Ballot” tool offers:

  • A comprehensive list of candidates and questions appearing on precinct ballots for the November 5 election
  • Links to candidate websites, if provided by the candidates, and the language of ballot questions
  • A link to sample ballots, if provided by the county
  • Links to other online tools to assist voters, including the Polling Place Finder, Absentee Ballot Lookup and Voter Registration Lookup
  • Explanations of candidate order on ballots.
