                2012 Minnesota Business Filings Remain Near All Time Record Levels

ST. PAUL, Minn.—December 4, 2012 – The Minnesota Office of the Secretary of State reported today 56,046 new businesses have filed with its office to date this year, 8,578 more than the same time last year.

"November was another banner month in a year of strong new business filings," said Secretary Ritchie. “We appear to be on track to reach a near record number by the end of 2012. This is great news for Minnesotans during this holiday season.”
