Changes to UCC Online Application Effective July 1, 2013
Effective July 1, as a result of the Article 9 Amendment changes, the UCC Online Application will no longer display the Tax/ID, Organization Type, Organization Jurisdiction or Organization ID fields. Additionally, the acknowledgement copy will continue to replicate the current form until further notice.
Forms, online services for filing, conducting searches, and obtaining copies as well as Minnesota Rules and Statutes that govern financing statements under Revised Article 9 are provided.
This office serves as Minnesota's central filing system for lien information related to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). The UCC central filing system is comprised of satellite offices located in many of the county recorders’ offices.
Statutory liens are created and/or established by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 514.
Requirements related to financing statements are found in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 336, Article 9.
