Become an Election Judge
Want to take your civic engagement to the next level? Election judges are essential to our democracy. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the election process and serve your community.  This is a great job for students and young adults looking to make a difference.  AND you get paid!  Our election judge page has more information.

Vote in Honor of a Veteran
All of our lives have been touched and changed by veterans. By exercising your right to vote, you are honoring their many sacrifices.  Cast your vote in honor of your brother, sister, father, mother, grandparent, friend or spouse.   Our Vote in Honor of a Veteran webpage allows you to submit your own tribute or read tributes shared by others.

Minnesota Votes Workshops
To increase voter participation, encourage enthusiasm and create comfort around the electoral process, Minnesota Votes has created a hands on experiential workshop that takes community members and first time voters through the entire voting process.  This exciting presentation will simulate a day at the polls, from filling out voter registration applications to placing ballots in the ballot counter. Participants will feel by the end of this presentation prepared for—and excited about—voting in their first Minnesota election.

Minnesota Votes workshops are free and ideal for students, new Americans, and community members who have not yet exercised their right to vote. For more information view the MNVOTES Introduction to Voting Workshop pdf.

To schedule a Minnesota Votes presentation at your school, community center or other gathering space, please contact Claire Wilson, Voter Outreach Director, at 651-201-1339 or via email at claire.wilson@state.mn.us or return a Workshop Request Form.

Fairs and Festivals and Fun
Minnesota Votes will be visiting a fair or event near you this spring and summer.  Come visit our booth to get a Voter Registration Application, voter education materials, information on becoming an election judge, and your “I Will Vote” sticker.  Tell us about your first voting experience or record a Vote in Honor of a Veteran Testimonial.
