A list of accepted absentee and mail ballots in state primaries or general elections, or special elections for state and federal offices is available to registered Minnesota voters. This data may only be used for purposes related to elections, political activities, or law enforcement. (Minnesota Statutes 201.091; 203B.12)
To place one order, submit a request using our Accepted Absentee Ballot List Request Form. To place multiple orders for one election, please use the Election-Specific Accepted Absentee Ballot List Request Form. Orders placed with this form may only get a statewide list. Information on data, formats, payment and delivery is below.
This office may take up to 10 days to produce the report--no reports are produced while you wait.
The list is provided in a comma-delimited text format which can be opened in most text-editing, spreadsheet, and database programs. Users are responsible for having the necessary software and technical knowledge to access this data. The Office of the Secretary of State will not support users.
Report contains Voter Name, Street Address, Voter ID, AB Request ID, Date Accepted, Election Description, County, MCD, Precinct, School District, and other Election Districts.
