Minnesota Office of the Secretary of State

Owning Multiple Houses

Voters must vote from the residence they consider home. If the voter has multiple houses, they should consider factors such as where their family lives and where they sleep most of the time. Voters do not lose Minnesota residence if they temporarily live in another state.

A voter can only vote from one address in each election.
