Special Primary Results (District 19A only)
Special Elections Scheduled. The governor has issued Writs of Special Election to fill vacancies in Legislative Districts 14A and 19A. The 14A vacancy was caused by the resignation of Representative Steve Gottwalt, and the 19A vacancy was caused by the resignation of Representative Terry Morrow. Legislative District 14A includes the eastern part of Stearns County, including much of St. Cloud, in central Minnesota. Legislative District 19A includes all of Nicollet county as well as parts of Le Sueur and Blue Earth counties, including part of Mankato, in southern Minnesota.
