Besides spending an several extra months in Iraq, my friend Joshua had actually re-enlisted knowing he very well might be sent over as a result.  He had already served his active time and had no obligation to do so.  Because of his example and that of his family, I have learned much about the military (being a civilian myself) and am now a part of a group called Vets for Freedom as a result. God bless Josh, Liz and Mallory!
